Bacillus Licheniformis

Introduction:

Bacillus licheniformis is a common Gram-positive bacterium. Compared with conventional probiotics, bifido bacteria and lactic acid bacteria, Bacillus licheniformis forms resistant dormant to ensure survival in adverse environmental conditions, and therefore it can be stored at ambient temperature and keep active during transport, use and storage. It can improve the immunity of animals and promote the digestion and utilization of feed.

Carrier:

zeolite, rice bran, etc.

Applicable to:

pig, chicken, aquatic animals, etc.

Biological functions:

1. Biological oxygen capture and competitive exclusion. The consumption of oxygen by Bacillus licheniformis destroys the living environment of pathogenic microorganisms and promotes the proliferation of beneficial anaerobic microorganisms, maintaining the intestinal ecological balance, so as to effectively reduce the incidence of diarrhea and constipation, enhance resistance to stresses, and reduce the incidence of diseases;

2. Enhance animals’ immunity. With immune polysaccharides in the cell wall, Bacillus licheniformis can enhance the immunity of animals and activate the ability of macrophages to engulf germs;

3. Biological antagonism against pathogenic microorganisms. Bacillus licheniformis tolerates the acidic and alkaline environment in the intestinal tract, has a high reactivation rate in the intestine, and can produce active antibacterial substances such as cytokines to kill pathogenic bacteria.

4. Improve the ecological environment in vivo and in vitro. It can decompose harmful gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide generated during the digestion of feed, and reduce the content of harmful substances in vivo and in vitro, which is especially vital for aquatic animals. It also decomposes toxic and harmful substances in aquiculture ponds, purify water quality, and effectively prevent the enteritis, rotten gills and other diseases of aquatic animals.

5. Promote the physiological maturity of animals. It can increase the creases of the small intestinal mucosa of animals, lengthen the villi, deepen the crypts, increase the absorption area of the small intestine, and increase the synthesis of cellular RNA, DNA and proteins.

6. Produce various enzymes. Bacillus licheniformis can produce abundant protease, lipase, amylase, etc. to promote the digestion and utilization of feed.
